Achille Mauzan (1883-1952) began his formidable career in France in 1909 doing film posters. By 1913, he had moved to Italy and his production by then numbered over 1300 posters. After WWI, his Italian career expanded to include many advertising posters for commercial products such as Campari, Cliqout, Peugot & Underwood Typewriters. In 1926 he moved to Buenos Aires where he established his own agency and revolutionized advertising in Argentina. His posters for Geniol, Crosley Radio & Bilz brought him world renown and are his most collectible today.
