This notecard set features an image by Paul Proehl that was one in a series of several transit posters that were originally printed c. 1925 to advertise travel by way of the Illinois Central Railroad. This image features sunbathers enjoying a beautiful summer day on Chicago's North Avenue beach, promoting Chicago: The Vacation City.

 
Each notecard set includes twelve 5x7 note cards of one style and twelve white envelopes. These greeting cards are blank inside.  
 
This item is also available as an 11" x 14" small format poster and a 10" x 12" framed small format poster.
