Summer Opera Ravinia Park Notecard Set

This note card set features an image by Arthur A. Johnson that was first published in 1925,of Giacomo Puccini's Madame Butterfly. Originally created to promote the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad--often called the North Shore Line, this image encourages travel to Ravinia--a beautiful outdoor concert venue located in Highland Park, Illinois.

 

This rail line was one of the last interurban railways operating between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin until it went out of service in 1963.

 

Each note card set includes twelve cards of one style and twelve white envelopes. These notecards are blank inside.
