The Great Masonic Temple, c. 1900

The Masonic Temple Building was designed by Daniel Burnham and erected in 1892 at the northeast corner of Randolph and State streets in Chicago. At the time it was the tallest building in Chicago at 300 feet and apparently sold its image for use by various advertisers.
