A short statement written by a soldier overseas fighting in WWI (Citizen Soldier #258), to appeal to those on the homefront, by painting a soldier's world after death. He claims that the reason they fight so valliantly is to protect the glory of the country, and that they can only defend its beauty with adequate supply of food, water, and clothing. He urges those not on the battlfield to purchase war bonds to aid he and his fellow soldiers in victory.
