New 20th Century Limited Notecard Set

The 20th Century Limited debuted in 1902 as the New York Central's luxury train operating between New York and Chicago. It made its journey along the Hudson River and the shores of Lake Erie on the smooth "water level route." The railroad would roll out a crimson carpet to welcome passengers to the train, giving rise to the phrase the "red carpet treatment." This poster image was created in 1938 by Leslie Ragan to promote the 16 hours travel in the lap of luxury.

Each note card set includes twelve 5x7 note cards of one style and twelve white envelopes. These greeting cards are blank inside.

This item is also available as a 24x36 poster, an 8x10 framed notecard, and a 2x3 magnet.
